Critique 2

I have decided that my photography project will focus on docks, specifically the time of year when everything is being packed away and prepared for winter. When coming up with my project idea I had to think about what kind of photos I could take of my town, and I really loved the boat shots I took for the last critique, so I thought why not continue that. The boatyard I went to this week was at the beach after school, and everything was so quiet. It was freezing, and all the boats where out of the water. I especially loved all the lines that appeared: of the boats and of the dock.

This is probably going to be the cover "shot" for my project, since this encompasses my goals.

Small towns...have their limits.

Our assignment this week was to create 10 documentary style photographs. I really have nothing to take pictures of  in my town that are worth that title. Literally nothing happens here (or nothing happened in the past week in particular) that is worth photographing. I am going to try and take some more photographs tomorrow, but for now this is all I have. Because I live by the water, you will definitely be seeing lots of beach pics!!
my neighbors go all-out

My adorable dog. so photogenic, right?
